We had an amazing time in Crete staying at villa Andromeda. Thank you very much for your support in arranging this for us with George.

Firstly, we found the service provided by Luxury Villas on Crete to be excellent. The booking process was very efficient, and all subsequent queries were dealt with promptly and helpfully. The villa itself is simply gorgeous. The pictures on the website only give half the picture, as the views from the villa are truly breath-taking on three sides. The villa itself is luxurious and stylish, and there is a vast amount of room for six people. It is well equipped, with even a drinking water tap fitted, and towelling robes provided for guests. The pool is nice, and the shaded area is a bonus. It’s a very quiet location. The walk down to Ligaria (and back up!) is steep, but the beach is lovely for a swim, and we had some excellent and very reasonably priced meals at the Sirocco taverna. The minimarket there was fine for all food except fresh meat and fish. We didn’t hire a car for our stay, but we booked a driver for a day to take us to Knossos and Heraklion, and she also took us to a supermarket which was helpful.
I wouldn’t want to stay there with young children, as there are steep steps and some sheer drops (hence those glorious views). Personally, I would have liked an outside washing line/airer, which I prefer to a tumble dryer – but that’s a very minor quibble.
George the owner was unwell during our stay, but the arrangements worked smoothly, with a charming cleaner visiting alternate days. We were pleased to meet George on our final day to thank him personally for a fantastic holiday. It’s not a cheap villa for six people, but we thought it well worth the price.

“Luxury Villas on Crete” excellent to deal with. Andromeda villa has amazing hilltop position looking out over the bay. Lovely pool and terrace area. Very well equipped with everything you need. Brilliant cleaner (possible best ever). Outdoor BBQ room was really useful. Well located for villages on either side both with really good tavernas and shops. Taxi service if you need them. We had a great week and would recommend this villa.
P.s make the effort one day to get up and see the sunrise.

I would be delighted. It was fantastic and George is such a gentleman.
The villa was everything we hoped and even more.... a view across Ligaria in one direction and Agia Pelagia another and then the sea out of the rear views, all the way to the horizon.
The sunrise in the morning is spectacular. Whatever you do, make sure one day you wake up early enough to see a beautiful sunrise in villa andromeda... It is more than worth It!
The house is stylishly decorated and comfortably furnished and makes the most of its fantastic position with multiple terraces and tables to enjoy at any time of day. We have stayed in fantastic villas and hotels all over the world but villa andromeda is their equal in every way.
A truly wonderful villa in a jaw dropping location. Not to be missed...

We stayed at the Villa Andromeda for 10 days in August 2017 and it was heaven. Directions from the Heraklion airport could not be easier and the owner, George, was waiting for us when we arrived. He showed us around the villa and was kind enough to have a few supplies for us, like a bottle of wine and some food. This was great after travelling all the way from Canada and having some serious jetlag. The photos of this villa and the views do not do this property justice – it is way more gorgeous than you could imagine. The villa is situated high on top of a rocky outcrop that has views of 2 different beaches and you get both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There wasn’t a single extra thing we could think of that would make this villa better. We probably spent 90% of our time on the pool deck, for obvious reasons. The grounds and cleaning services were amazing. We really felt right at home in this glamorous villa. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect place to relax and unwind surrounded by the beauty that is Crete and the Mediterranean.

The Villa is so very well positioned – the views are stunning. George – the owner was exceptionally responsive to a couple of queries we had (one to do with the TV which was sorted so very quickly & well) – he was there to meet us & show us round & on time to collect the keys. We really felt like we were treated as sharing his family home rather than a cold holiday let. Of course being late in the season some of the restaurants were closed but this was fine. The sea was warm, the villa pool just perfect also. The Villa itself was perfect for us – very light airy & modern with all the facilities anyone would need for a great stay. Of course given it’s location would not be good if there was no car available & access to either of the beaches requires the individual to be quite ok on their legs ! But all in all – we would be more than happy for a re-visit !

This magnificent villa is the ultimate in luxury accommodation on Crete. Perched high on the cliff between two coves providing safe and delightful beach swimming and water sports, guests could be forgiven for spending their entire holiday simply indulging in the villa's own facilities. The sea views on three sides are nothing short of spectacular, day or night. Almost every room spoils you with a jaw-dropping vista. The villa is superbly appointed inside with every need catered for, from morning coffee through to al fresco dining, complimented by tasteful furnishings where nothing is compromised, particularly space. Outside, dedicated barbecue and pizza 'huts' add to a bar and cabana servicing the sparkling, deep pool which provides infinity views to die for. This is a venue capable of satisfying the most demanding of travellers. More than this, it beckons the most discerning.
