We had a fantastic week at Villa Olea 1
The villa is very beautiful both inside and outside, it has three lagre bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. It also has a TV-/Playroom with PlayStation, DVD-player on the lower level. The main level is a combined livingroom and kitchen. The kitchen is beautfull, and has everything you need to make a lovely meal. Outside there is an area for Barbeque/outdoor dining, a lovely little garden and a beautifull terrace with a jacuzzi, a private salt water pool and a wonderfull view! The owner George is very professional, kind, helpfull and friendly. One day he even brought us a traditional Creetan cake that wife had baked for us. Vicky who cleaned the house was also very friendly and took such good care of us.The villa is in very good condition, everyting is very clean and looks new!
We cannot recomend this villa enough!

The kitchen could have used a few more essential items like cling wrap and foil and the new blender was missing a part. These are minor things. We also had to look up how to use the washer/dryer online because we couldn't decipher the greek instructions. We have a couple of homes that have been used as vacation houses in the US so we have prepared similar things for our guests. The beauty of the home, yard, pool, and setting are just sublime. We loved the local beach and restaurants. There is really no need to drive anywhere. We loved the beaches and locations that George recommended to us. We hope to come back and we have already recommended the house to friends who are moving to Athens this summer.

We loved the house and everything about our vacation. George was a lovely man and a wonderful host. We were absolutely thrilled with everything and I left a detailed and very complimentary overview at the house. We filled out the questionnaire with a few minor suggestions. We never had a GPS - so giving us coordinates didn't work for directions to the house. We did find driving directions to be a bit complicated because the wireless only worked at the house. Printing out the directions to various locations nearby and putting them in a book in the house would be very helpful. Also, printing out the written instructions for driving from the airport would be helpful.

We stayed at Villa Olea June to July 2013, the villa was perfect, fantastic location with everything and more that we needed. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. The modern and contempory villa was nothing like we have stayed in before the attention to detail was second to none, extremely comfortable beds, all mod cons, very clean and spacious.Cant wait to come back and have already recommended.

We visited Olea for a long weekend of pure relaxation and we weren't disappointed. The villa is a dream to look at and even better to stay at. The attention to detail is incredible, the view spectacular and the Cocomat beds one of the best we ever had the pleasure to sleep on. On arrival Alex provided us with many tips on the surrounding area and we fell in love with the lovely sandy beach and it's tavern's in Loutraki. Chania with it shops, restaurants and great nightlife is within easy reach so you have the best of two worlds really. If we visit the west side of Crete again, we will certainly book Olea. I can only but recommend it and wish we had booked longer.
