We recently had the pleasure of a weeks stay at Villa Aquarius which is close to the town of Sisi and its picturesque harbour.
The villa is set amongst and olive grove and we were in for a surprise a lovely vegetable garden for our use and every day there were courgettes, spring onions, cucumbers, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, herbs to be had for the picking and the added bonus was a chook house where every day we harvested around 9 eggs. The villa had five bedrooms all with bathrooms,an excellent kitchen, a large living/ dining area and a covered outdoor dinning area with a ten seater table overlooking a lovely pool. At. The end of the pool was the barbeque area complete with fridges and sinks and this is where we spent a lot of time.
Our villa hostess Audrey somewhat made our stay just that little bit better nothing was any trouble to her and we had a couple of instances where we needed her help and she bent over backwards to accomodate us. She also has a very good knowledge of the area (in fact Crete). All in all a truly wonderful stay and we can truly recommend it to those who want a relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings.
