On arrival we were met by a member of staff. As with all the staff we liaised with prior, they were courteous, helpful, and friendly. Property was spectacular when the main gate was opened, with pool and gardens well maintained. Interior was neat and beds comfy with plenty of pillows and air conditioning throughout. Plenty of wardrobe space in each bedroom, with lots of hangers supplied. Kitchen well equipped, with electric hob and dishwasher for convenience. Even a washing machine and airer which was essential for our stay with my youngest daughter having special needs. She found it easy to navigate around downstairs and both my children enjoyed the pool with toys and inflatables!! The villa is situated in an idyllic location, lovely views through the trees with a serene atmosphere away from any excessive noise which helped with my girl's sensory issues. Nearby town of Sisi took minutes to access in car and was comforting to know we could pop out with ease to shops or delightful tavernas if anything needed without a lot of travelling. Considering the mobility issues we had, I was pleased with the convenience. Local beaches are very pleasant and only a short distance away and very accessible. Views from the balcony at Villa Hera were astounding and relaxing to step out to each morning. I loved the chirping of the cicadas. Gave me that "tropical feel" It is an ideal base to stay for visiting many areas of interest. We went to Amazonas Park (just 20mins away) and would recommend for the thrilling scenery up in the mountains and lemur feeding!! We also had a drive to Spinalonga viewpoint, and down the coast to Agios Nikolaos which was perfect!! I would most certainly return to Villa Hera. I found it an entirely relaxing area, and complete joy to stay here.
