We stayed here in late June/early July and it was exactly what we were looking for. The setting is gorgeous. Secluded enough that we had real privacy and a reasonable drive from grocery stores and some genuinely great restaurants. The host was on top of everything. The villa itself was stunning inside and out, spotless, and every amenity actually worked. No hunting around for a broken AC unit or a missing lightbulb like you sometimes get with rentals. The drive to and from the property is stunning. Follow the hosts directions (not google maps) for the best route. We had 2 babies under 1 year old and the host provided cribs and highchairs so definitely can say this place is kid friendly. We also loved having a few incredible less-crowded beaches nearby that didn't feel like tourist traps. Sometimes we just drove and stopped at coastal spots along the way. We also just spent a lot of time at the villa itself which was never a problem given the pool and incredible views. Also want to note that the pool furniture is really comfortable. It's a weird detail but coming from Miami and spending a lot of time at pools, I just have to say it was the most comfortable pool furniture I've ever experienced. You can also walk down a path from the house to the ocean below - highly recommend this for a quick dip on a hot day. We grilled out almost every night and had dinner at the outside dining table under the stars. Highly recommend this. The host can recommend a place to get fresh fish to grill. Would go back in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, high-end home base with easy access to everything.
