Octo - new, clifftop, waterfront, luxurious villa

On the ancient island of Crete, which brims with history and rich culture, villa Octo stands on the edge of the sea providing amazing views of the deep blue. It is a unique retreat comprising of 3 rooms, open spaces, endless view of the Aegean and a private pool (50 m²), which is aimed at providing you with a perfect, luxurious & relaxed stay. The construction of the villa was inspired by the modern private living vacation model in order to provide an integrated, spiritual & fulfilling experience during your time off.

Villa Octo is a newly designed, eco-friendly constructed villa of 200 m², located near Heraklion, the capital of the island, on a bay overlooking the city. The location offers splendid views and an idyllic environment of harmony, relaxation and discrete luxury surrounded by Crete’s nature. The distance from the city is 15 km and 20 km from Heraklion Airport, with plenty of the paradise beaches of the island close by.

Villa Octo is now suitable for remote working, with high speed internet at 100/20 Mbps, (download/upload). This service makes the villa an ideal work-from-home retreat for guests who would like to combine work and pleasure. Additional services can be offered for remote workers, such as computer screens, connection cables & office equipment. Our guests are already enjoying the high speed internet, the office equipment and the serenity of the villa, working in an elegant space, overlooking the bay of Heraklion and the open horizon.

Additional service (extra charge): Large computer screens, cable connectors, office equipment (office desk, chair, filing cabinet, printer)

Renovation details for the season 2021

Significant revonation works took place prior to 2021's touristic season, among others:

• New indoor & outdoor wall and wooden pergola paints
• Brand new fabrics on furnishings
• Brand new side tables in all bedrooms
• Brand new indoor & outdoor lighting (all rooms & ground floor)
• Brand new outdoor furniture and equipment: new wooden sun loungers with custom fine cushions, new comfy poufs, new dinning designer’s armchairs.

Upgrades & Additions

• Brand new sound system
• PlayStation 4 with games
• Samsung smart TV’s: Living area 50’’, master bedroom 40’’, double rooms 32’’
• New indoor & outdoor planting, creating a ‘’greener living’’ (new design pots and plants indoors and around the premises and garden)
• New decorative objects (indoors & outdoors): paintings, vases, candles, books
• Brand new wine conservator and beverage cooler installed next to the BBQ area
• Brand new furniture at master bedroom’s private balcony

Maid service including linen change every two days is included in the rental rates

Pool cleaning (1-2 times/week) and gardening (every 2 weeks) are included in the rental rates

The pool can be heated up to 29 degrees Celsius at an additional cost per day. The heat pump needs to start 3 days before arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY

-In case of cancellation, the 30% deposit is non-refundable

-Cancellations received 30 to 50 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the entire stay

-In case of cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival, 100% of the entire stay will be charged
